The one in Monroe has recreational, no alcohol fuel. Madison (52A) is also putting a recreational fuel pump on the field.

Two different sumps...

One has the carb toward the rear of the sump, one the carb comes out the middle of the sump. Ask me how I found this out!! Looking at the sumps it very obvious.

Took 'em out, turned 'em over, and bled the system again. Got brakes!!
I may look at mounting them right side up later, but for now I'll leave 'em like they are. It may have been possible to bleed...

Oil cooler, front ramp mount.....

Looking for some installation pictures of the oil cooler mounted on the bottom of the front baffle ramp. Of particular interest is hose routing, and the P/N of oil cooler used.

He has a reamer and an oversize bolt that works great. Not cheap, be it can be done on the plane. I'm sure he'll chime in.

Anyone know you bends Van's canopy parts? Trying to do a custom RV4 frame and need a piece of 1/2" square tubing bent.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a safety issue. For some reason I was remembering it was something to do with the mechanical pump pulling fuel thru the idle facet pump. I'll drive on!!

In my -6A and in my -8, the Facet fuel pump was mounted with the outlet angled up. The pump in the -4 is mounted horizontal. I also noticed in the plans for my friend's -3, it shows the pump mounted...
