If you did have a GPS failure, you could utilize your G3X as an emergency navigation source and receive help getting to VFR to land.

Cheapest route would be one of these lifetime chart subscriptions and fly solely on your VOR/ILS...

If so, they're just files on your USB drives. Delete the files and they won't be available to Skyview anymore.
