You've already explored adjusting the rod-ends in the elevator system to move the stick aft? Because of the lever ratio, a small amount of rod adjustment can yield a goodly amount of stick movement....

Why does balance change over time?

Couple of notes here:

Balances are done to the 1/10 gram (.004 oz :eek:) level for the weights on the flywheel.
On RV's, we typically shoot for very low final levels.
The difference of 1/2 gram...
