I was thinking the same about the patch.. I didn't see anything in the plans either. So I guess I will see about a patch when the time comes. Thanks for the feed back.

I was wondering what other builders did to close the hole in the lower fuselage skin. Mine is a -1 kit and it came with the cutout for the step and I'm building an 8.

I just found my order list from Van's.The gear legs are pt# U-801-L-PC and U-801-R-PC and I received a credit on my order for $291.11 per gear leg. The bracket pt#'s are U-803-PC and U-804-PC and...
