Ron,
If all youíre looking for is a two position ON/OFF switch with a lockout to prevent you from inadvertently turning it off...basically just a key switch, the 2TL1-3F or 2TL1-3G will do the trick....

Yes, the rudder is different... the 7 comes with the 9 rudder, but the 8 rudder can be used on the 7. As a matter of fact, Iím building my 7 with an 8 rudder.
