My experience

My experience with race cars is that the cooler should be replaced if metal has gone through it. But I am not an expert on airplanes, but it also seems more critical on a plane. JMHO

On some of the 4-5 rivets i have to squeeze them twice to get the leaverage. Once with the squeezer backed out a little, then once more with the squeezer in the final setting.

I gave up on the rivets and welded mine. For my 9, the rivets touched the rear spar at the extreme ends of travel and I didn't like that. YMMV

Same rivets as used on the bottom skin, so ya they will work for the dimples. The pilot hole needs to be enlarged slightly just like when attaching the bottom skin.

Rc fuel tubing
