I set them both to 71.4 and after I got all the bolts finally torqued one was at 71.3 and one at 71.4. Since the tolerance is .2 I left them alone.

The conversion harness is not really a problem. On the newer RV-12's without the conversion harness, the only wires on the auto-pilot cable are the 4 wires that go under the panel to the molex plug....
