Most of my research shows people using J-9613-40. The cheapest place I found was from Herber Aircraft Service at $152.20 a pop. Just ordered mine a few months ago from them. Hope this helps.

While a scroll saw would not be as good as a band saw I would certainly prefer one over using a hack saw. It should work fine for you as long as you have a metal blade on it.
