Check with the component manufacturer to see that fluids are compatible with their seals. May be a point where its fine for a while, but then begins to affect the sealing properties of the O'Rings....

Stainless or steel, NOT aluminum. Teflon hose is an option, but you can make a tighter bend in rigid tube than you can with teflon hose and firesleeve.

not going to push an aluminum tube into a "airbrake" quick lock connector. But you can flare the tube, use an AN nut and sleeve, and adapt a quick lock connector for you nylon static line.
