I have searched and searched and have been unable to find a picture of how Van's crates QB wings.

I do know they use a plywood box! The real question is how are the wings secured in the plywood...

I laid a bead of RTV on the edge of the baffle to limit the cylinder fins from cutting into the baffle. Aerosport Power turned me on to this.

2000 hours later and no fins cutting into the baffle.

I saw this when I was building 20 years ago so I started lightly countersinking my dimples. Problem solved and the plane is still flying. While it adds to the work involved the rivets seat nicely.

G5 no longer a paper weight

I am glad to report my G5 is now rock solid through all basic aerobatic maneuvers.

The software upgrade to 3.20 worked.

I am now a happy flyer.

Garmin support was very good.
