7k overhaul

Just talked to the prop shop near my house. Switch to a suffix b hub and overhaul 7k. Prop was overhauled 5 years ago. With vans price of 8k for a BA why would anyone overhaul a prop?

Been doing ATC since 89 and I rarely see extreme turbulence. Impossible to control aircraft and possible structural damage, glad they are ok and a thorough aircraft inspection should follow. Wow.

FSS does not have radar so they can't provide flight following. That service is provided by Approach or Center. Hope that helps....
