The builder did it....

Hi Gene,

I was the "manufacturer" of the glass panel. I didn't supply the blanks. Like Brad said, those were to be cut out from the stock .063 panel supplied in the kit, so the builder cut out...

I'll take credit. I put the design that I used on my RV-6 out on the Matronics list about 8 years ago. I used to sell the latches as well.

I know of an RV-8 that had an engine issue and...

I know of an RV-8 that had an engine issue and landed off the Kauai coast..... immediately flipped over. There is written story about it somewhere. He got out and was picked up a short time later.
