the electrical tape warning refers to Lexan, not acrylic. It’s ok to use a good quality electrical tape to mask the canopy for fiberglass layup, but I wouldn’t leave it on any longer than necesssry.

Installed an AN5 as that came in the option kit I got from Vans, so the prebuilt cable fit. That said, the Odyssey battery terminal is an M6 so mine is probably overkill.

dayco 15358 too big for the adjustment arm as you suggested Bill, ended up using the supplied 15355, which grants a mm or so clearance from oil line when torqued
