If you do need glue, pliobond (aviation adhesive) or e6000 will work. I prefer pliobond, it can be found at most hardware stores.

One really good adhesive to keep around is pliobond. It is sold in bottles and cans, stir or shake well before use, says right on can- for aviation use. The e6000 mentioned above is good stuff...

I am sure others will respond, I would use ring terminals, screws, lock rings and BLUE loctite. I would not use red loctite on any small screws like that.
