They are on exact opposite sides. There should be a plug of the same size on the other side from where your outlet currently is. Swap the plug for the outlet fitting and vice-versa.

Have had heater hose on two aircraft and while it works, both times it got sticky on the outside pretty quickly. Won't go that route again.

Had to replace 5 of mine with shorter ones. These are the middle-length, I believe. All have 73435 stamped on them. Serviceable condition.
