I also have the Echo and get intermittent ghosting. It seems to be dependent on the surface station being received. Some might be filtering while others are not.

PTT switch

I have a Ptt switch on the top of a Vans poly grip. It is a squishy momentary button. Would like to replace with a Ptt that has a tactile ďclickĒ. Any recommendations?

I think it was called micro fasteners. They arenít listed as Torx, I guess that is a brand. By memory ( best I can do tonight) called 6 lobe fasteners. PM me if you canít find them.

I suspect your not one to have to rely on others for help. Maybe consider a -12 with blind or pulled rivets? I'm not sure the -12 is all pulled but most of it is. You could shoot blind rivets all day...
