The nice thing about RV's is having so many choices. I built a 12 because it ticked all the right boxes for me, but I wouldn't want a 10 or an 8 for example.

I'd suggest fitting the engine first. Less chance of error, even though the plans say it can be done without the engine. My cowl would not have fitted had it been trimmed just to the scribe lines.
