No I believe 200-220 with max 245F is what I read. Another RV10 at the airport and many on this post seem to run closer to 180F. So I was thinking I had some minor issues.

Mark at Tropic Air hooked me up again. Found a bad coil in the mag fixed it and sent it back - I installed and went flying today - it checked good - and it was great to be back flying.

OK not thinking things through and being a first time builder I put the prop on to fit the cowling ect and didn't install the alternator belt first.

solved - maybe

I think I got it fixed. I cut the baffle right back, through the rivet and reriveted closer to the cylinder.

I also trimmed about 1/4 from the back of the cowling to match the drawing.
