I have had a 560 since they were introduced in November at the AOPA Expo. I've also had a 510. I prefer the 560.

The 560 has an upgraded Automotive GPS, AOPA Airport, Safetaxi and Enhanced Terrain....

I would consider the Aera 560 before upgrading to the 496. I find the Aera much easier to use than the x96 units. Have owned both the 396 and 496. I currently have a 696 plus an Aera 550 and 560....

The Aera models are are based on the Zumo 660 Motorcycle GPS and are the same size. I have a Zumo 660 that I use on my bikes. Accessories are interchangeable except the XM WX unit.
