You can't just hook up controller to old pitot. It regulates it and doesn't turn it on until correct temp sense so you need a feedback temp sensor.

You should be fine with on-off

Best location of roll servo is in left wing. Get er done before riveting.

I'd run all wiring through the conduit you have installed. Either a bulkhead connector on the root rib or leave the wires...
