If they're crossing, I'll go without the flaps or half flaps.

Mobil 1 ATF as brake fluid..

I've been using Royco 782 but I am considering moving to M1 ATF, just due to the ease of aquiring from the local Autozone vs ordering it in.

I'd say this depends purely on what you're doing with your aircraft. IMC, sure, having your panel go BSOD would be a bad day. If you're VMC, meh, just reboot the units and try again.
