I would hit the surrounding aluminum with a heat gun. Be reasonable, getting it to 150 or 200 won't damage the aluminum and will make a big difference. Beyond that....just a bigger hammer.

I doubt the boost pump changed the viscosity of the oil much. Seems to me that after a 15 minute ground run the undercowl temps could be high enough to cause a little vapor-lock at really low fuel...
