Hanger Rash on Rudder ... Fixable?

My -12, located in a community hanger, was pushed back by a lineman into the rubberized leading edge (de-icer) of a larger craft and my -12 sustained damage on the lower surface of the rudder ......

I know the feeling.

Back in 2008, while building my RV12 and making daily calls to the guys at Vans builders assistance I was told to remember I was building an airplane and not a monument ... That always stuck with me...

The revisions to section 25-5 and 25-6 are an answer to all our problems... We just have to order a new window, mix up some gas tank sealant, eat a few Popsicles and practice our cake decorating...

I'm not an aeronautical engineer ... I'm not even a good builder ... that said, it seems to me the landing gear "problem" could have been prevented by beating all the landing gear bolts and brackets...
