High voltage

I had the same alternator with over voltage problems. I believe the main problem is high resistance somewhere in the Alt Field circuit path. In my case it was the 5 amp breaker switch.

I had a similar issue using an Android compute stick (MK809III). After discussing with GRT tech support, I sent the compute stick to them for troubleshooting. Haven't heard back yet.

For this non-tinkerer, I think p-Mags are great.
- easy installation
- auto plugs (cost less to replace all 8 every annual than replace one aviation plug)
- easy starts
- smooth idle
- better economy...
