MiniMax Tug for an RV-9A

Purchased a MiniMax tug for my RV-9A. It is powered by a 20V DeWalt drill.

I had a little trouble with the fork lock to begin with. The instructions aren't great. That's all fixed now.

Once I...

More performance notes RV-9A

8000 ft, 2300 RPM, about 57% power - 142 Knots at 6.9GPH.

N-1119A Back from the paint shop

Picked a Coast Guard theme because I am a Coast Guard vet, and I liked the visibility of the "rescue orange".

The tail art is my wife in her...

A 7 vs a 14

Mike,

I just finished my 9A slider, which shares an identical fuselage with the 7.

I'm 6'1", 240#, heavy in the shoulders, and I fit fine. When I fly with my daughters - plenty of room. When I...

RV Space in Frederick, MD

If you move your plane to my hangar, it can stay for a month or more. I'll be moving my 9A in around Halloween.

I know its a hike, but I have an empty hanger in Frederick, MD, 30 miles NW of DC. I can probably fit two RV's in the hangar.

I can also provide shelter to a couple of pilots and passengers for...
