I put electric heaters in the corners of the garage during the winter and ran up the electric bill. Circuit breakers would occasionally pop when the air compressor would kick on, haha.

No issues...

I concur with BillL's conclusion and did the same on my -7. Sometimes you just gotta fiddle with it until it works correctly. I had a slightly heavy wing and worked through Van's heavy wing guide...

The Bahamas were expensive. They dinged me $200 for an overnight. But, they did all the paperwork for me (flight plan, customs, gen decs, etc) and got me a hotel, ride, etc.

I spent the night in Exuma in the Bahamas. Pretty expensive place to stop. Actually had to get a hotel. Lame! But, the gal's were super friendly and helpful.

I recommend against that config. It adds unnecessary complication and time to the build.

If you like flying stick right hand throttle left, just fly the plane from the right seat. Thats what I do.

Keep the manual flaps

If the -7 had a manual flap option, I would have definitely done that instead of electric, FWIW.

Advantages to manual flaps:

- Less stuff to fail
- Much faster extend/retract
- Less expensive

Upper intersection fairings

Test flew the upper intersection fairings today. Surprisingly, no noticeable speed increase. I'm still 175 KTAS at 8000' DA, wide open, 2700 rpm.

FWIW, a CS prop is some of the best money I spent on the project. Like zilik said, what's the point of building a hot rod, then limiting it's performance with a fixed pitch prop.
