I put electric heaters in the corners of the garage during the winter and ran up the electric bill. Circuit breakers would occasionally pop when the air compressor would kick on, haha.

I spent the night in Exuma in the Bahamas. Pretty expensive place to stop. Actually had to get a hotel. Lame! But, the gal's were super friendly and helpful.

I recommend against that config. It adds unnecessary complication and time to the build.
If you like flying stick right hand throttle left, just fly the plane from the right seat. Thats what I do.

If the -7 had a manual flap option, I would have definitely done that instead of electric, FWIW.
Advantages to manual flaps:
- Less stuff to fail
- Much faster extend/retract
- Less expensive

Test flew the upper intersection fairings today. Surprisingly, no noticeable speed increase. I'm still 175 KTAS at 8000' DA, wide open, 2700 rpm.
