My Hartzell prop with Hartzell governor will NOT cycle at 1300 or below. I havenít looked for the exact rpm spot where it transisions but it will cycle at 1600 and above.

Are you saying you are leaving that SHCS loose (but locked with locknut) so it rotates under use?

No. The SCHS is tightened and the locknut is also. But the SCHS clamps on to the bushing inside...

If u have Dynon Skyview with VPX u need to go thru the calibration procedure. Both need to know which one is in charge. Had same issue with my FLAPS. Made for exciting first flight.

Check the instructions. I installed mine a year ago and don’t recall rivnuts. I think I threaded the roll bar tapping a 1/8” hole. And I’m no engineer but it’s steel and strong.

At the root of the blade they are round or close to it. Been awhile but i eye-balled it as I recall. I Put the blade in the center and have had no issues. Mine is a Hartzell BF.

The spinner has the cut outs for the blades already. i just aligned the back of the spinner with the back of the back-plate. centered the blades within the cutouts.
