No, audio will not go through the ARINC box. That's for ARINC data. Audio from the 430 goes to the audio panel.

BTW, not sure what "alerts" you're referring to...the 430 provides COMM and VOR/ILS...

Yep. And I believe the terminals are M6 bolts, from the diagrams I just looked at a couple of days ago (the manual that comes with the battery). Comes with all the nuts and whatnot you'll need.
