I didn't drill the hole in the axle. The AN6 bolt torqued to spec keeps the spacers and axle from turning. Have 120hrs so far on this setup, no sign of issues as of yet.

Question No problems here

I have flown my RV-14 in some pretty moderate turbulence with the 5-point restraints. I have not had any problems with the seat belt not holding me in place.

Same thing happened with my canopy. In cold weather it closes easy. In warm weather I need to pull down on the center handle while engaging the canopy lock.

It's pretty easy to adapt the ADHRS mount in the left wing for the GMU-22. It's also fits nicely with the Van's wiring. The Garmin part you need is:
