I use clickbond nutplates for locations like this but if want this nutplate I would drill holes to #33 and pop rivet MSP32 rivet on both sides.

Alt wire - 4 or 6 awg?

In recent post about running battery cables through gear tower on rv8 it was commented that 4 awg is overkill for alternator wire. Alt is B&C standard 60A alt.

controller

You can't just hook up controller to old pitot. It regulates it and doesn't turn it on until correct temp sense so you need a feedback temp sensor.

You should be fine with on-off

My engine is IO-360-A1B6 angle valve with 10:1 pistons. The recommended exhaust is 4 straight pipes. No crossover and no 4 into 1. Idea is better cabin heat and less crowding around...

I recommend attaching the pieces together with structural screws or bolts. It will make you swear every time it needs to be removed.

Best location of roll servo is in left wing. Get er done before riveting.

I'd run all wiring through the conduit you have installed. Either a bulkhead connector on the root rib or leave the wires...

I would patch the entire area with piece of stainless and drill new holes. You can make it look good. I powder coated by cover plate red. Turned out nice.

I had aviator seats in my RV6 with RV14 mod. The mod does not change anything in the seats you can use. Just reclines the seat a bit and makes it look a lot nicer getting rid of that ugly...

No the slot will be hidden when the grips are finally installed. There to facilitate as you say.

Just gives better routing for the wires so they don't rub as much on edge of metal.

No plenum is only fastened to baffling on 3 sides. Mine has front aluminum rings that provide some support against cowling but screws around circumference is what holds it

Sounds like you need to adjust the oil pressure on the engine. If you're seeing 60 psi I recommend 1 full turn clockwise then test fly.
