RV-10 Side Window Replacement

Hopefully someone has the answer to this. But what is the best way to remove a damaged side window on an RV-10. I have put the plexiglass and left the edge of the plexiglass that is bonded/adhesive to the fuselage. I can chip away at the plexiglass and get it off, but is there a product or easier way to have the adhesive release the bond?

I think the recommended tool is a hand held router.

Plunge Router

Here is a write up by NWA Captain on replacing the front windshield. It should be a similar process. You are going to have to grind and route out the window. I don't think you are going to be able to USA a chemical solvent to desolve the bond chttp://www.nwacaptain.com/windshield.html
