Mogas with Isobutanol

Looking to see if anybody has had any experience with using non-ethanol 91 octane mogas that contains Isobutano which is a type of bio alcohol. Just located a new mogas station in my area with this. I contacted tech support at Lockwood Aviation and was told it was an additive that chemically increases the octane but did not have the bad properties of Ethanol. He said go ahead and use it. Not much info from Google concerning Rotax engines and Isobutanol so I'm looking for a few opinions. Got any ?
