RV12is - Fuselage / Longeron - aft bend

RV12is - Longeron Question: The aft end (6") of both LEFT and RIGHT longerons are bent down approximately 1/8" below the top of the side fuselage skin while the remainder of the longeron is perfectly flush with the top of the side skin. Does anyone have any input / comments as it relates to this condition as the instruction manual calls for the top of the longerons to be "planar".

I have built several 12?s and I don?t know anything about bending the longerons down, but they do get bent inward several degrees to mate up to the taper of the tailcone. Make sure you follow the plans on this. I have seen at least one finished airplane that was not bent and it looks bad.
