I had a pair of these (1 with a full cage and 1 with a half cage) that I bought used a while back and they are great. Somehow I managed to bend the full caged one so I went on a search to find a new one. I took the bent one apart to measure the shaft on some V-blocks and there was a .005 bend. It has 3 bearings (2 annular ball bearings with dust covers and 1 thrust bearing for when you "plunge" the shaft) They were built well and I loved mine until it got bent. I'm not sure if giving big-ups to e-bay is allowed here, I know some forumns STRICTLY forbid the mere mention of them but I don't know why.
