West systems

I'm venturing down a path I've never been before. Just wondering about the pumps for both the resin and hardener. Do they need to be removed after use and the cans resealed, or are they good to leave in?

I've read the instructions and can't seem to find it.

Thanks

Don

I have always left them in with no trouble. When I was building boats, we left them in too. Protect them from freezing and make sure you do not cross contaminate them even a little. West systems lasts and is a very good epoxy for almost all uses. If you use the microballoons, it is VERY HARD when you are sanding. Sometimes I use a 80-120 sanding belt, cut and glued on a block for big cuts. Use the peal ply and you cut your sanding down considerably. Have fun!

Leave them

I just used some West tonight. Pumps have been in
For a few years now. Work well still. Warm up the resin and
and hardner if in a cold area. Flows better through the pumps.
