I started the day with a solo flight to go pull some G's and get upside down a few times. Equipment checkout and all...
A good, safe formation flight followed.
Lurch Flight:
Lead: Lurch
2: Monkey
3: Sky
4: Krash
Grumpy Flight:
Lead: Grumpy
2: Hot Stuff
3: Scorch
4: Winn
Lurch's 2nd flight as a 4-ship lead. There is much to do and he did a swimmingly good job. Minor digs - all talked through in detail during the debrief. The echelon turns were above average and the cross-unders were 9 out of 10. Radio calls were spot on and crisp. Great lead, Lurch!
Grumpy flight did same routine roughly with one variation, a lead change. All on the ground safe and breakfast followed a thorough debrief.
I opted out of breakfast to scoot home for domestic duties (lawn, etc).
