Motor off set

I have a trim problem on my 7A. The trim is out by a half ball. I can bring it back in with right rudder. A trim tab will take care of this, but I would rather find some other way. I'm considering adding a little right off set on the motor mount. A 1/8" washer under the left side of the mount will move the front of the motor to the right about 1/4". Has any one tried this, and did it help? Thanks

Are you sure your leg gear fairings are not the source or the trim error. I'm told they can contribute quite a bit to the trim. I got lucky with mine and they gear fairing didn't change the trim of the airplane when I installed them.
