EI Fuel Level gauge error code

Anybody know what error code R6 means? The manual only lists error codes from R1 to R5. Clearly it's something in the right tank calibration, I just don't know what.

Nobody really cares about this but maybe sometime in the future someone will encounter the similar code and the archive will pop up the answer.

As I suspected, the problem is the RV fuel tanks with resistive floats will show the same resistance at 15 gallons as it will at 20 (which I'd already known because Brad Benson is an expert on all things RV).

But the error code of R6 (or L6, if you're doing the left tank), isn't in the manual, but that's what it's calling your attention to.

The solution is to go back to your calibration points that show the highest sensor count. In my case, this was the 15 gallon calibration point, and change the code from P (Partial) to F (full) and make that your full fuel calibration.

Basically, you just delete the subsequent full-fuel calibration point.
