We are heading to Corpus Christi for a couple of days for the first time. Any suggestions for points of interest? Recommended airports to land at? Would prefer an airport with a courtesy car.

USS Lexington

I have no airport recommendations, but the USS Lexington WW2 aircraft carrier is a great experience. Lots of stuff to see, self guided/paced tours, and amazing history.

You might stop by Mustang Beach, they have a trolly that stops by the airport and brings you into town. We love it!
 
If you decide to visit Mustang Island / Port Aransas, the folks who own the Harbor Inn motel are airplane people. Jay and Mary Honeck own a Piper Cherokee 235 Pathfinder and an Ercoupe.
