Sterba 68" X 62" prop for O-290

I'm looking at a used Sterba prop for my RV-3. Wondering if anyone has any feel for how well it would work. I have a Lycoming O-290 125 HP. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the 0-235 and the 0-290 have the same Type 1 prop flange. Measure the bolt hole size and the bolt hole circle (center of the hole to center of the hole) and see if it is 4.3/8".

My 0-235 could not turn it fast engough on take off or straight & level so 125 HP should be a nice middle of the road power plant.

You could call Ed Sterba, Sterba Props and ask him.
