That just happens to be where I took my PP check-ride in 1967. Not in an RV of course.

You are right! I've spent more non-RV surfing time on that sight than anything I can think of over the last 2 or 3 years. Really interesting.

Guilty as charged. Sometimes I'll go on that site to look at a couple of things... next thing I know I'm lost in some strange time sucking dimension. The abandoned airfield site has numerous links to this page, "http://www.airforcebase.net/index.html" If you really want to waste some serious time, start looking through there at some pics and read some trip reports. Old air bases, Nike and Atlas missile sites, etc. Interesting stuff.
