I am pasting this in for people who are thinking of flying in Big Sky Country this summer and may not be subscribed to the right emails:D:

June 12-13 - 5th Annual Lewistown Airport Fly-In & Pancake Breadfast courtesy of Central MT Hangar MPA. (In conjunction with Pioneer Power Days) Antiques, Warbirds, Helicopters, Experimentals. June 13 - Gallatin Valley Hangar invites all pilots to participate in its Poker Run. Contestants are welcome to fly the airports in any order, so out-of-town participants may show up later in the morning after picking up cards at participating airports: Bozeman, Three Forks, Townsend, Helena, White Sulphur Springs At each airport will be a can containing cards sealed in envelopes: take an envelope, do not break the seal, bring the envelopes to Bozeman, where seals will be broken and hands revealed. Cards may also be purchased in Bozeman, so it is not necessary to fly to all the airports.

June 15 - Butte Fly-In and Military Appreciation Days June 15 ? 18. Sentimental Journey, a vintage B-17 will be on display and flying as well as other military aircraft (B-17 rides may be purchased). Fly in and have your plane on static display, help us by flying Young Eagle rides Wednesday and Thursday mornings, join us for a Thursday evening barbecue, have a picture taken of your plane with the B-17. Ramp fees are ancient history, there will be a $.50 cent discount for fuel, and a camping area will be available on the field. June 17 - Vigilante Hangar Meeting - This meeting will be a fly-out to the Lincoln airport where, weather permitting, Jerry Cain will host his annual fly-in BBQ at his hangar. You will receive another reminder around June 13th as he would like to get your RSVP for this event to help him order the food. More to follow....

June 20 - Plains Airport Fly-In Pancake Breakfast. 8:00 am to noon.

June 20-21 - Fathers Day Fly In Sourdough Pancake Breakfast Fort Peck Airport Steak Fry Saturday evening and Pancakes Sunday morning. June 20-21 - 6th annual Father's Day Fly-In Twin Bridges Airport. We will have a pig roast, pancake breakfast, young eagle rides, airplane on display, pilot games, vendors, concessions, skydiving, presentations and more. June 27 - Airport Heritage Day, Ravalli County Airport (6S5) Hamilton, MT. Sponsored by the Ravalli County Pilots' Association, the Ravalli County Aviation Safety Foundation and the Ravalli County Museum. Pancake Breakfast 7:00-11:00 am; static display of antique aircraft and warbirds, historical information booth, skydiving demonstration, radio controlled aircraft and EAA Young Eagle Flights will continue into the afternoon, and finally, 7:30 - 11:00 pm, a USO Hangar Dance.

July 4 - Saturday at 9 a.m., at Aero Flight, Gallatin Field. Despite the holiday, our Hangar will continue its practice of First Saturday on July 4th. This recognizes that people in attendance may vary month to month, and the numbers may vary, but that fostering social interaction is a priority year round. Gallatin Valley Hangar

July 4 - EAA Flight Festival, Townsend Airport ? Breakfast from 8:00am ? 11:00am. Young Eagle Flights from 10:00 ? 1:00pm. The city of Townsend will be having a picnic at Heritage Park in town. The courtesy van and cars are available. Camping and barbeque grill is also available at the airport. For the 4th of July only 100LL will be available for $3.00/gal. The Gallatin Field controllers will give a Tower Talk and Tower Tour as part of our social. Our socials are open to all people interested in flying.

August 6-8 - Montana Antique Airplane Association Three Forks Fly-in

August 15 - Polson Fly-In - Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (fly-in pilots eat for free) headlining: free 10 gallon aviation fuel drawings, 50/50 raffles, and antique aircraft, homebuilts, and other general aviation airplanes on display.

hey I flew the citabria to BZN to meet with Bob M. about solar hangars. Since we were in the building I checked out your plane today. That's quite the panel.
