RV-8 owners/builders/flyers around San Francisco?

I'm at a conference in San Francisco 5th to 9th December and wondered if there were any RV8-ers I could visit/gossip with or even go flying? My RV8 is nearing completion and I hope to have had the first flight by mid November or so.

Building in Santa Rosa

Chris,

I'm working on the finish and firewall forward kits for my RV-8 in Santa Rosa. It's about 60 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge on Highway 101.

I'm getting close too

I live in Cupertino, 45 minutes south of SF. My RV-8 is getting baggage door, windscreen, cooling baffles, and....a million little details, and then its done.
