SL40 Sleeve Screws

Hello,

What type of screws are people using to attach the SL40 mounting sleeve to the panel angles? The pan heads I have have too much "head" height and will not allow the unit to be inserted. These are 8-32 x 1/2" screws. Flat heads work, but I know they are the wrong type to use here.

Thanks,

Pete

Sleeve screws

Hi Pete.

The right screws to use here are flat heads... it's not obvious, but the oversize holes are designed to allow a flat head screw to have a low profile without really being dimpled or countersunk. It also allows a small amount of adjustment in the position of the tray.

That's what I did for my SL-40.

Vern Little... in the paint shop.

Thanks Vern

Add one more to the total that I owe you! I'd love to see your paint scheme.

Cheers,

Pete
