Red RV in Fort Collins?

I think I may have seen my first RV flying over Fort Collins yesterday. I look up while driving, and there is this red airplane with what looked like hershey bar wings that is absolutely screaming across the sky, must have been in the pattern because I saw it a few times...it honestly looked like it was making 200mph at only a 1000' agl. A cessna type came around a few minutes later and it looked like it was craaaawwwwling.

Well, I'm at Fort Collins-Loveland but mine is yellow.......

There are quite a few RVs around.

Another Fort Collins Mystery Plane!

So it's hot outside and I'm working outdoors - - What do I see?
Heard a noise and looked out at the NW corner of my property, and there was an unpainted RV-7 completing a turn at about 500' AGL and headed right towards my house for a low pass.

So whoever you are, RV pilot, THANKS! What a boost to my work day.

Red RV

A red RV-7 left Stockton, CA yesterday heading for someplace in TX. If this RV was heading east and the pilot had a grin a mile wide, it could have been that one.
I am anxious to hear if the new owner is a member our group.
