Remote Display of APRS Postion via Iphone or other Web-enabled Device

Has anybody been successful using an Iphone or other web-enabled device to show somebody's live APRS position on a map?

This would be handy if someone was picking you up at the airport and wanted to meet your flight but, instead of leaving from home where they have a PC handy, they were "out and about" - so only had access to a web-enabled cellphone or other device.

Anybody had any luck with this? What worked?

findu.com works on the iphone. I haven't been able to get the zoom to work with the google map presentation. But if you chose the aprsworld map, it works just fine.

Here are a couple of posts from the aprs.fi owner's blog that may be enlightening:

Looks like there is still a bit of work to be done for full iPhone service.

I would expect, but haven't tried, that www.aprs.fi works on an Iphone too... guess I'll have to try that...

Yes, please do. I was unable to get it to work on an Iphone - though I didn't play around with it. Does aprs.fi use java? Will java work on an iphone?

it showed up fine when I tried it earlier today... just a map (couldn't zoom in/out) and a textbox at bottom where you can search for callsign.
