RV Fly-in at Poplar Grove (C77) 8/17?

Can anyone verify that there is an RV fly-in Sunday August 17th at Poplar Grove Airport (C77)?

It's not on the EAA or VAF calendars or on the "Chicago Area RVAtors" Group on yahoo http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ChicagoAreaRVAtors/

C77 is having it's pancake breakfast fly-in on Sunday. If you are thinking of the RV fly-in that they had last fall, that is a different event, and I don't know if that is scheduled yet.

C77 Fly-In

WX should be great for the fly-in at Poplar Grove 8/17. It is not an RV fly-in but you will see several RVs there and if you walk the hanger rows you will likely see several works in progress. Be sure to visit the Poplar Grove Wings and Wheels museum and the hangers on the North side as well.

It's on the VAF calendar under "Illinois Pancake Breakfast fly-in."

Should be a fun time!

The Poplar Grove breakfast was great! Lots of planes and cars and people and a very nice breakfast! I'll look forward to this one again.

Buck - I left my cell phone on the table in the hanger when I flew up for the breakfast so I could not anser your call! Sorry. I'm changing cell phones too and will pm you my new number. Glad you're not in a hurry!
