I have a question about the 3/16 X 3/8 ROD END BEARINGS that are in bag 20. When I rotate the bearings, I can feel metal grinding against metal, especially when I simulate a load by pulling the ball one way and the rod the other way. Greasing them does not help. I do not know if I got aluminum particles in all of the bearings or if they come from Van's with that metal-to-metal feel to them. If you get a chance, check out your bearings and let me know what you find.
According to Aurora's website, the bearings are designed to have metal to metal contact with no brass sleeve or ball bearings that I am used to. So maybe the metal rubbing against metal is normal. Joe Gores
