Some of you, perhaps, have been following J.W. French's Sam Burgesss Memorial Junkett that was written up in the last Sport Aviation. It'sa also been updated on the EAA Web site. http://www.airventure.org/2008/news/080702_french.html
JW reached his 48th state when hit South Dakota on Friday, and now he's in Minnesota. He's in Alexandria tonight, he'll be at Sky Harbor tomorrow, and I've invited him to stay over in South St. Paul (actually Woodbury) on Monday afternoon/evening). His mission is to meet as many EAA chapter members as possible.
Perhaps some of your members would like an evening flight up to KSGS and would like to join us for a little BBQ and fellowship. We've got ramp space and if folks can email me at [email protected] and let me know what they want to eat and drink, I'll have it waiting. Bring your own chair.
I know it's short notice, but such is the nature of this particular odyssey.
