Lake Tahoe Golf Trip

Flying to Tahoe for a few days of golfing. For those familiar with the airport, what FBO do you recommend? Tie downs?
For the Golf nuts, we will be golfing Edgewood, Coyote Moon, and Old Greenwood. Three great courses.

Two airports in Tahoe, South Lake and Truckee. sounds like your going to South Lake if your golfing Edgewood. Only one FBO, they may or may not marshall you to a parking spot. Transiet is right in front of the FBO. Tie down with chains. Preferred ldg runway is 18, t/off 36. Believe Tower is inop these days.

Minden

Minden is in the valley. Sounds like you've got a full schedule of golf, but, if you have time, call Tony Sabino at Soar Minden and get a couple of hours of dual in one of their sailplanes. World-class soaring and the view of the mountains and lake are spectacular.

I'm a hack east-coast glider pilot and I stayed up for more than 2 hours riding thermals to over 15,000 feet. Cheaper than golf and well worth it!
